Well, the title is self explainatory. I’m…going on a hiatus. Yep. Well, it isn’t a very long hiatus. It’s near the end of summer, my recital is almost here, and well, I’m just sort of busy with other things too. >>;; It’s about a 2 week hiatus. This will be a short post just to say this.

Well, I have my recital on Sunday, and I’m freakin’ scared more than any other year because I didn’t practice as much as usual. TT^TT Well you know how I wrote about my intense training? It got all haywire mid-way through Summer because I was barely home. Soo…more practicing, because I still suck.

Anyways, onto the hiatus. I really should call the hiatus next week, but I just don’t want to feel obligated to blog this week because of other things I’m working on, so I’m calling a hiatus.  That way, if I don’t have a blog post, then I have a reasonable excuse (sort of). If I happen to be done and everything is just peachy and working out, I might squeeze in a blog post, but that’s highly unlikely, since I doubt that I’ll be finished and satisfied with what I’m working on, at all. >_< I’m sure people who follow me on twitter have already seen my many rage~ moments already with what I’m working on, and I apologize for that.

But after the recital, a whole next week is on hiatus because I’m going on a road trip~ Yay~ sort of. 16 hours straight (well, besides breaks for food and stuff) of driving. We’re going on vacation by car, and…yay. I like vacations a lot, it’s just the whole car drive thing. xDD But besides that it’ll be fun. I’ll be back from that around the 2nd or 3rd of August. And then the hiatus should be off. By then I will also be doing before school work. >_< So, school is right after that. It’s a short summer this year. ;_;

Anyways, that’s it…I’ll still be around updating twitter and going through blogs though. But at least after the hiatus (since I will definitely be back), things will be bigger and better (hopefully). xDD

Kyaaa~ I have to say that Rhythm is awesome, *fangirls over him*. Gah, I knew I’d like him from the start. One good thing that the anime does: emphasize on characters that aren’t so emphasized on in the manga. I have to admit Satelight did this well. Anyways, an enjoyable filler/main plot episode. ^_^

On blog note…TT^TT. I’m currently really busy working on both my piano and other stuff, so gah, Umi Monogatari won’t be posted again. It makes me so sad because I have stuff to say!! D:< And then watch, when I finally can, there won’t be anything left to say. At least all of the stuff I’m working on will be worth it in the end. :D

Thoughts

Lol, I soo get reminded of Amu and Rima’s experiences with their charas in this. But with Nagi it’s just so funny hearing him got “Yay!” so confidently and…un-Nagi-ish. xD

Lol Rhythm! That’s one way to get acquainted. Rhythm’s “yay” catchphrase is funny yet love at the same time. Haha, Miki’s totally digging the hug. No one can resist Rhythm’s hugs!~

Rima pinned it spot on. That’s exactly what I thought. Not much to really say. Just had to give Rima some love~

Omg, I loved this scene! Come to think of it, they really are similar. The background music was also very fitting btw. ^_^ Yoru no kakkoii!!~ I don’t know why, but hearing Yoru introduce himself just seemed so cool (the way he said Yoru maybe?). They could be like, best buddy charas or something. xDD And making a handshake on the spot? Total win!

Lol, shock!~ For some reason though, I don’t feel as sorry as I should for Kiseki (I mean I do feel sorry for him, but not as much as I expected). Haha, but that’s what he gets for being so stubborn. X3

Himmm!!!! What? They’re already giving us hints from the manga with him holding the rock?But I didn’t expect Hikaru to have blonde hair with blue eyes. :/ I always imagined him with light brown hair and light brown eyes. I wonder if it was a manga coloring I saw or something, but I’ll have to get used to it I guess. He looks so cute in the anime! I want to huggle him if only he wasn’t the ebil little kid (although later he gets better, I’m totally ignoring that).

Kyaa~ Rhythm is so cool, again! Did I ever mention I love the headphones for the chara-nari? Anyways, omg that scene with him carrying Amu is total love right there. Immediately got reminded of a couple Amuto scenes, lol. Rhythm, oh you player you. But you gotta love him for that huh? Now that I think about it, I think if I had to choose someone else besides Ikuto for Amu, Nagi would probably be second to Ikuto. x) Then again, Kairi wasn’t that bad, I guess the Jacks are win, ne?

Lol, so cute!! I have no idea what they are doing though. xD But lol, running into a tree. ^^;; Daichi, Yoru, and Rhythm would definitely make great buddies, they’re all so similar in personalities.

In this episode, Nagihiko shows his intelligence the most. He sounds so strategic. X) But I guess that’s the point of the episode, not to overthink things.

D’aww, how cute. Kiseki’s a tsundere chara I guess. But Rhythm’s such an awesome chara, no one can resist his charms! Anyways, found this oh-so cute because even Kiseki finally caved.

O_O So detailed! But it so fits him. But isn’t it sad to see a little kid care about that stuff? Like Amu said, shouldn’t it just matter that it tastes good when your that young? But anyways, it’s sorta sad seeing this.

(And on a taiyaki boy note, I lost the screencap and it’s too late to get it, so I’ll just say this. He was so cute when he bumped into Amu, when he stepped around a couple times and finally fell. >.< That was cute somehow. xD)

This week, the episode was another good episode. I don’t get to fangirl as much though because Mihoshi didn’t get as much screentime, but that’s because we’re introducing the last addition to the club…Hime. Well, all thoughts later. ^_^

Thoughts

Yay!~ Hug number 1! Anyways, lol at this scene just because of Mihoshi and in the background you can here her go, “Omomomom” or some sort of gibberish munching sound. XD

Lol @ Edogawa. xD But I’m wondering, does Mihoshi do that stance whenever Sayo’s around? Well it’s awesome and cute anyways, so I don’t mind~

Lol, I like Edogawa already. xD He overreacts so much. He’s like the guy version of Mihoshi. XDD Except, you know, he doesn’t exactly glomp onto people. But he’s a fun addition to the group.

And now we have Hime. Mihoshi’s “love rival” for Saku, even though we all know she doesn’t stand a chance. xD Anyways, I’m sort of “meh” on her. She’s a pretty fun character to watch, but then she also interferes with the OTP of Saku x Mihoshi. I dislike her more than I like her, oh well.

But more Mihoshi love~ Resistance is futile!

More winning expressions! If I’m not mistakened, Mihoshi will grab at any opportunity for more members, haha. I loved both of their expressions, but as expected, Mihoshi’s won. xD And no it wasn’t biased I don’t think.

I lol’ed at this scene in both the anime and ang, but Tomatsu Haruka makes it a lot funnier in the anime. xDD

But I guess this is the right time to say this…I guess another reason I didn’t like the Saku x Hime relationship is because Hime just instantly fell for him because he said her hair was beautiful. I mean it is a little more convincing that she had a complex about her hair, but I guess it doesn’t seem enough to me. They only had one moment together, and Saku and Mihoshi spent their childhood together. So they had more time for their relationship to grow.

Aww…poor club! Lol again, @ Mihoshi’s expression!~ But the student council president is so ebilll! She’s making student council presidents look bad. >:(

Yay for Mihoshi!~ Kind of feel sorry for Hime though xDD. But yes, Mihoshi! When Saku’s blushing about another girl, glomp her and…make her change her clothes! Once again, Mihoshi does exactly what I want her to! 8) I love the censor part, it’s pure win and incredibly funny. :3

Lol, I haven’t given Buchou enough attention, have I? He’s as funny as ever, my second favorite comedic character (not overall in the series). He’s trying to be so cool, but apparently, Hime’s not into it. But why do I want to pair them up already? xDD

Hm…so I guess the ending song doesn’t have an official ending sequence. I guess it’s just inserted into the anime. Well, it looked nice. The pictures in the sky was pretty~

Do I sense a possible Saku x Mihoshi moment *ignores Edogawa*? :DD Anyways, the next episode looks very interesting~ Pretty much all of the chapters I’ve read have already been covered by the anime (4 chapters -_-), so now I can’t tell what’s next. But that’s okay! It makes my more excited. So I can’t wait for the next episode, looks like another good one~

Well, the title will make sense later. ^_^ Anyways, yes~ Week 8 & 9. Okay, now it seems like the schedule is more like a two-week thing since I’ve done that every time except for the first week. -_- Well anyways, I guess it’s a somewhat decent normal issue of Blossom Blabber. Not a whole lot to write about again. Anyways, this week’s issue will include anime, manga, music, blog info, and other. :] Again, sort of pathetic since I’m kind of rushing. >_<

Anime

Well, I’m going back to try to watch some older anime that I can marathon. Well, the top two I’m planning are Tsubasa Chronicles and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. I’m probably going to watch Tsubasa Chronicles first, even though I’ve heard awesome things about Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (just going to call it TTGL) and probably should watch it first. xD Oh, and in case anyone is wondering, I still haven’t gotten to watch SSR. I just totally forgot about it until writing this. XP But anyways, if I have time, I will definitely plan on watching them~ ^_^ But I’m also trying to finish up some shows that I had put on-hold for like…a year? Lol, anyways, trying to catch up on anime right now~ Not much to say, but decided to add that. ^_^

Anyways, I’ve tried catching up on Nabari no Ou and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. But I put Nabari no Ou on hold again because the episode I was watching was so boring I almost fell asleep. x_x All they did was talk, and it wasn’t interesting either. I guess Nabari no Ou has kind of lost my interest. It’s a pity though, since I liked it so much before. Maybe it was just that episode, but I didn’t like how suddenly it seemed like the plot took a whole  u-turn in the first place.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei…was as funny as ever. I need to finish up the series so I can watch the next two season. xD I have to say, Mikoto is funneh. x] If only he appeared more. The eye contact engagement…scary. Hot springs, lol. The girls have no shame whatsoever. But I…need to go further. Dx I guess it’s just a nice fun change. Although it feels uncomfortable to watch it when others are near me…>_> Anyways, like the series. ^_^

Manga

Orange Planet

Well, I recently finished reading Orange Planet, which is by the same mangaka of Cherry Juice (I really should remember her name since I enjoy her mangas). Anyways, I thought it was a pretty good manga. There were some points where I thought things were a little rushed or awkward, but other than that, I enjoyed it.  Well, the rest is filled with some spoilers that I’ll be talking about freely, so the rest of the white space will have to be highlighted.  xD

I think the biggest surprise was finding out Kaoru liked Tarou. =O I just thought he was joking the whole time. Until, well, he never said or hinted he was after that point. But anyways, awkward~ It’s weird, I didn’t exactly have a strong side on the shipping part of this manga. I guess, I flip-flopped back and forth? I usually don’t do that, but I guess…it happened here. Originally I liked Tarou and thought he’d be good with Rui, but then I accepted the teacher (who at first I couldn’t tell the difference between him and Kaoru), but then I was okay with both. x) I guess it was because midway through, Tarou irritated me a little, but then something made me like him again. Originally, I liked him since he seemed to have a smidge tsundere in the beginning. xD The teacher’s cool though. But in the end, I didn’t really like the ending. I mean, I knew it “concluded” the series quite well, but it somehow didn’t feel like it. I mean, I remembered the teacher saying he would be by her side, but never the direct words that he loved her, but I guess the kiss counts as the indirect words. Agh, I’m getting confused. Dx It just didn’t appear like the feelings were mutual, even though I knew it was. But I was still happy with the series. ^_^ A good read that kept me giggling the whole time. But this mangaka always keeps my attention, which leads to the next manga.

AAA

Well, I decided to read the manga since I was on a roll on reading Haruka Fukishima’s mangas. X3 So anyways, I have to say that I enjoy the manga so far. But the scanlators haven’t scanlated all of the chapters, so I’ve only read the scanlated ones. But I like it ^_^ I just need more chapters to be released! D:<

Like Orange Planet though, I feel like there are bumpy in how the romance is developed, but I guess it can’t be really helped. Like, I guess that…sure there were doki-doki moments for Aoi to like Hayato, but we never really knew the reasons why Hayato looks like he likes Aoi? I don’t know~ But anyways, I love reading it nonetheless. It’s something I can look over fine. I just hope that Aoi doesn’t end up being totally distracted from her school work (because that would lead to those parenting stereotypes that boys and love makes your grade lower XP), because it looks like she’s going downhill. Well, at least it’s realistic. I really like Hayato’s “rogue” friend’s hair, I mean, it has highlights on the bottom! xD Kind of a random thought I’ve been thinking the whole time. His hair is awesome. ^_^

Fly High!

I finally read the updated chapter. ._. Wow…that was…late. Anyways, Ichiya looks better without a ponytail. xD Anyways…I’m still a bleh shipper on this manga. I seriously have problems with both guys…even if they’re shallow issues. But Meru is just so…happily dense-ish to believe that they wouldn’t do anything. I like her intentions, even though she reminds me more and more of a typical shoujo heroine. >_> But it seems like Ruka is the only one whose saying what I’m thinking. xD

Short little section. Anyways, I’m currently into…Vocaloid. xD I blame CLAMP’s PV that made me curious about the whole Vocaloid thing. Oh and Kanzeon’s post also helped. xD But my favorite Vocaloid character is Kagamine Rin. I’ve loved all of the songs that I have heard from her so far. Especially “I Like You, I Love You”, and “KOKORO” (it’s so sad! TT^TT). Her voice is just so cute and the songs are so catchy. But I’m still listening around, because I haven’t heard everyone’s songs yet from Vocaloid. But so far, Rin ftw! I like all of them, but Rin is my fav~ And a lot of the nicovideo pvs, are uh-mazing. They could totally be official.

Let’s see…Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ singles. Well, I have to say, it’s surprisingly awesome!~ I loved both Ein and Zwei’s singles. Hm, favorites, Crazy Darkness and Haitoku no Gaijou. Zwei’s voice is so hawtt~

Oh, and I was lurking around again and I found a song from Honey. I don’t talk about it much, but Honey is one of my favorite characters. So yay for Honey love! His voice is so cute in this song. ^.^

And also, Bokura no Love Style. I wonder why the voices seem a little different, since Hikaru is supposed to be low and Kaoru high. Oh well, don’t mind me and my detail picky self. xD But a fun song all in all. Love OHSHC songs~ Oh the nostalgia of OHSHC…

Well, I’ve finally figured out which shows I’m hoping to blog. ^_^ Right now I’m sort of behind, but I’m currently working on my Sora no Manimani post. So I’m blogging Shugo Chara!! Doki, Sora no Manimani, and…Umi Monogatari. xD Well, I’m blogging Umi Monogatari just because I always have a lot of thoughts for it. But I’ve skipped episode 2 and 3 just because of the lack of time. I’m hoping to get episode 4, but I really want to just wait for subs. Unforunately, they’re pretty slow. xD As for Sora no Manimani, it’s surprisingly hard to write stuff besides “I love Mihoshi!!!!11oneone” but that won’t stop me! Anyways, I updated my Schedule page. ^_^

And if you haven’t already noticed, I’ve added a poll. But gah, my sidebar is so cluttered, I might just remove it afterwards. This is sort of an experiment…so I’m not sure if I’ll keep polls. I mean, I like them, but they clutter the sidebar. I had them on K-2, but I didn’t like it there because, well, I had less widgets. Ah it’s all so confusing. Maybe advice on the polls or sidebar would help. :]

I’m not sure when my big first impressions post is coming, but I’ll be working on it after the Sora no Manimani post if Umi Monogatari isn’t subbed yet. ^_^ I have to work on lots of stuff this week because I just don’t have time next week. ^^;;

Feeling Bored

Okay, this has got to be the oddest thing I’ve written about, but I definitely feel like sharing it. Ever since summer, I’ve still been busy with responsiblities for the blog and busy making graphics or something else. But at school it was even worse, since if it wasn’t school work, it was a magazine article, if it wasn’t that, it was student council work. So I guess you can say, without having to worry about the pressure, when I’ve gotten my posts done, in summer where I don’t have to worry about school, and can’t play practice my piano because I’m not at home, it feels refreshing. Not knowing what to do with the time, finally having some time to yourself and just relax, it feels peculiarly nice. I guess I discovered this right after I finished my Monthly Mania post, even though I knew I had an SC! post to do, I wanted to give myself a break from working on my Monthly Mania post for over 3 days. I had caught up on the animes I wanted to watch. So I didn’t know what to do, and I guess, it just made me happy that I finally had enough time to just “lalala” and lay on the floor staring at the ceiling. Most people don’t like being bored, but for me, it’s totally refreshing. ^_^ I actually still had lots of stuff I could’ve done, but I went blank and totally forgot or ignored them. But the boredom lasted for a nice…5-10 minutes? Then I finally did something that, I did not expect: I was making a forum skin. xD But anyways, totally random, but a small ramble I felt like including. ^^;;

Shoujo Bubbles

Yay~ I finally figured out how to “draw” shoujo bubbles…or rather “shapes” with a pencil. Usually I’d try to draw the shapes and it would look fake and…blegh. So anyways, I’m sure someone has already found out how, but I’ll put it up anyways. Maybe I’m a little slow on catching onto things? Well here goes, even though I’m terrible at explaining things.

1. Find a seperate sheet of paper. Cut out the shapes you want, like a pentagon, square, or a circle.

2. On the same sheet of scrap paper, write as hard as you can continuously on one spot so there’s pretty much a big black mark on the paper. ^^;;

3. Well, now your hands might get a little dirty. I haven’t tries using a paper towel or something yet. Anyways, rub your finger against the dark spot. Your likely going to have your finger dirty with the pencil’s lead color on your finger. If not, rub harder until it does. xD

4. Now place the cut out shape onto your drawing. Rub your finger all around the shape until you get all around the edge.

5. Now when you lift it up, the shape should appear there. If you want, you can overlap the shapes, or you can put a small smudge in the center. ^_^ Anyways, that’s it~ Now to put it all around the drawing!! >:D

Does that even make sense? Well, it’s the best I can do to explain it. But I got the idea based on how people usually do that with pastels. But instead, you use a pencil. xD You can use a pastel too though. But anyways, it can turn out something like this (image taken from SC! chapter 42…I couldn’t find a better image at the moment). Hope you guys like it~ ^_^

Ah, I don’t care if it’s part filler and whatnot, I enjoyed it. :P I mean, of course it’s not great since  I wanted the manga version, but I’m still satisfied with it. But maybe it’s just because it’s on Nagihiko that I’m open minded on it so much. xD But we also get to see Rhythm and Nagi’s chara-nari, “Beat Jumper”. Lol but even though it’s a Nagi focused episode, I seem to fangirl over other characters more. xD

Thoughts

Not much to say about it, just random notes throughout the episode. ^^;;

Wow, didn’t expect Kirishima to be the popular type. That was a nice surprise. ^_^ He was a cool looking filler anyways (remember how we all love his hair?). But naw, Rima won’t regret turning him down, ’cause she’s got Nagi~ >:D

XDD Kukai is getting pwned by everyone. Nagi saying it with a smile and sparkles made me lol. But don’t Kukai! You aren’t a loser Jack (although the least efficient)~

^^ Rima pwn! xD Lol, I thought it was a close one. But I figured Kukai would win. He’s older and his strength is in athletics anyways, even if Nagihiko is good too.

Lol, after taking the screencap I realized that Yaya looks like someone from Sailor Moon.

Unintentional pwn #1! I would’ve thought they were a comedy trio too by the way they pose too, if only they weren’t playing basketball. xD But Amu’s clueless-ness is funny. ^_^

I have to say, it was nice seeing Nagihiko as a boy when he was little. He just looked cool. xD And wow, he can jump high. x) But anyways, it’s pretty sad that he only got to have one day to enjoy being a boy when he was little, but he looks so happy. I don’t know, but it’s one of those things when it makes me feel all happy for him too or something. >_< Okay, that was…a pointless random ramble. I forgot the point I had when I took this screencap.

RHYTHM!!~ Kya~ Anyways, Beat Jumper looks so cool. I’ve always liked Nagi’s chara-nari with Rhythm. But lol, like everyone else, his body looks…girly during transformation. xD

Seeing him shoot off with wings on his feel reminds me off episode 1. ^_^

I don’t know why, but I thought it was sort of different having the charas talk to the x-charas. It just seemed different, yet sort of cute/funny? It’s like the charas did the talking this time instead of Amu?

Summary:

The story follows the main heroine named Zen, who was born with Autism. However, along with her Autism, she has uncanny reflexes and a strengthened sense of hearing.

In the past, her mother, Zin, used to have a relationship with a Thai gangster called No. 8. However, he was jealous of her relationship with a member of the yakuza named Masashi. Masashi leaves however, for the safety of both of them. Zin ends up pregnant and tries to write a letter to Masashi, but No. 8 finds out the two kept in contact with each other and is furious and cuts off one of her toes. The two girls are forced to move to a Muay Thai academy. Later on, Zin finds a boy on the street named Moom and takes him in.

Zen continuously takes interest in Muay Thai, copying moves from both TV and from the academy. Later on Zin is diagnosed with cancer, and need to pay for treatment. Unable to do so, Moom and Zen find an old notebook with a list of people who owe Zin money, and decide to collect the debt. This leads to confrontations with various enemies and gangs.

Thoughts:

Well, this is again, a totally different movie. This movie is a Thai action film. So…there’s violence…and blood. So it’s a rated R movie, just to note. But anyways, I always enjoy Thai action films, and this is one I remember enjoying very much. All the actors do their own stunts, and so I guess it just seems all the more real I guess. xD But my aunt bought the movie and so I just watched it from there. Not a very exciting story. xD But it’s a Thai movie so I’m not exactly sure where to watch it online. But I’m pretty sure it’s somewhere on the internet, probably a torrent.

The story is a little slow in the beginning, and the acting can sometimes seems fake or overdramatic, but the action totally makes up for it in the second half. That’s pretty much why I stay away from Thai dramas xD, since their acting isn’t great and don’t have awesome action to make up for it. But anyways, back on topic. Chocolate is a movie that I have to say, is just great. It’s definitely memorable with it’s amazing action sequences. Zen is definitely my favorite character. She makes a lot of funny noises, but that’s because she copies what she sees on TV. And I love the way she pops chocolate into her mouth. xD But other than that, she’s totally that strong heroine that I love. I also love her super senses, making her a total WIN heroine to me. She’s a nice example of someone who doesn’t let Autism stop her. Her brother Moom, is also likable, even as silly as he is. In the long run he’s a good brother figure, and so I like him too.

Overall, an action-filled movie for anyone who loves either martial arts or just pure action you can enjoy. Or at least, I did. It kept me on my toes the whole time, even though the movie was sort of presented like a video game. But despite its flaws, it is a fun, action-filled movie. ^_^

Am I the only one who thinks that the second to last sentence sounds dirty?

Well, I just finished watching this drama, and one of the reasons this post took so long (because I had to finish the drama first). Anyways, I’ve heard of this series so much before, that I decided to finally watch it (yeah…no interesting how-did-I find-it stories this issue xD). Anyways, I enjoyed the humor of the show, but also the undertone of it. I guess it’s one of those dramas that pay more attention on friendship. ^_^ But if you don’t like that sort of stuff, then there’s just some plain humor.

As I’ve mentioned in my Blossom Blabber post, I guess I’m sort of biased and overlooked some details just because I love the cast. Each actor was able to depict their character’s personality well. Sometimes it wasn’t as sharp as others, but that’s because the two main guys are more of singers than actors. Well, the story is title character is Nobuta, but it is Shuji who is the main character, since most of the drama is narrated from his point of view. But I think Akira’s my favorite character. xD He’s just a really funny character. Mariko also ties for my favorite character because she’s just an awesome friend the whole time. She just has good intentions the whole time and I couldn’t think of a time where I didn’t like her. Mariko also helps out a lot, so I guess that makes me like her more? Either way I like her. ^_^ But all in all almost all of the characters are lovable. All except…one. The music, is okay I guess. It fits with the show, but then sort of gets overused. The ending song is pretty good though. I’ve already posted it up on a Blossom Blabber, called “Seishun Amigo” by Shuji to Akira.

There are parts when the show seems incredibly unrealistic, but it’s also a touching show. Even though there are hints of romance, it’s more focused on friendship. The beginning is more fluff, until the second half where it’s, well, dramatic. But all in all, it’s a show that’ll make you just go “aw…”

Final Fantasy X

Summary:

Final Fantasy X begins late in the story, with the main character, Tidus, waiting with his allies outside the ruined city of Zanarkand. Tidus narrates the series of events leading up to his present situation, which spans most of the game’s storyline. It begins in Tidus’ home city, the unruined and high-tech Zanarkand, where he is a renowned star of the underwater sport blitzball. During a blitzball tournament, the city is attacked by an immense creature shrouded in water known as Sin. The city is destroyed, and Tidus and Auron are taken by Sin to the world Spira. (Source–Wikipedia) He meets several other people throughout his journey through Spira, ultimately leading to the goal to destroy Sin.

Thoughts:

Well, I’m sure most people have heard of the Final Fantasy franchise. I’m a big fan of the franchise, but I think Final Fantasy was the first FF game I played (I worked my way down xD). Well, I usual watch my brother play it, but I’ve played several parts and usual read the strategy guides xD. Anyways, I have to say that I liked all of the games, but the two I liked the most were X and its sequel, X-2, which I originally planned to include for the video game segment. But then I thought it would be better to have the original. It’s a game that has a couple complexities, but also able to keep my attention along the way. Plus, it has some romance in it. x)

Anyways, the game isn’t actually too complicated, if you listen to tutorials. It also has the Combat Turn-based System, which means that you don’t have to worry about time pressure (which helps to anyone who’s new to gaming). I liked the storyline, since it’s actually pretty deep and complex. But what can you expect from FF? The graphics are great if you consider the year it was made. It was pretty revolutionary for the FF franchise in my perspective. The characters are one of the strong points of the video game. Each character has their own fleshed out personality along with their past. The chemistry between the character is also refreshing to see. All of the main characters are great in their own way. Tidus is that cheerful protagonist who has that unfaltering determination. Yuna is the…I don’t really know what the right word for it, but I guess she’s…the kind, mature? I really don’t know how to describe her since I haven’t played the game in years, but I remember her being my favorite character. That’s all. Rikku is the cheerful, upbeat thief, but lovable to me. And as usual, the music is fantastic. That’s all I need to say on it.

Overall, a great game for anyone who wants a pretty long, yet keeps-your-attention game. It has the action, story, hints of romance, that I believe most people would enjoy. ^_^

Nanatsuiro Drops

Summary:

Tsuwabuki is a normal student, though not very social. One day he meets a new transfer student, named Sumomo Akihime, and another girl, both the only members of the gardening club. Tsuwabuki is forced by a teacher to join this club. But then he bumps into a strange guy with dog ears, switching his drink with they guy’s by mistake. Drinking it, he is turned in a stuffed animal. The teacher tells him that the only way to turn back to normal is to find the chosen girl and let her catch the seven stardrops. This girl is Sumomo, that accepts to help him, though she’s not allowed to know the animal’s true identity.

Thoughts:

Even though it’s adapted from the game Nanatsuiro Drops (an eroge Dx), it’s a nice, cute, short anime to watch. But anyways, Nanatsuiro Drops is the show where Sumomo (my banner girl) is from. ^_^ It’s a short series, but is a cute mahou shoujo nonetheless. I watched it last year, so I forgot a lot of details about it (it’s a somewhat forgettable series). I found it from crunchyroll, with those, “recommendations for you” thing (yeah, I look at those). It just looked like a cute series, so I decided to check it out.

The storyline is the typical mahou shoujo-like story. Even though there are some parts where it is corny or cheesy, it’s a cute romance story all in all. The music I guess you can also say…is typical? It’s the cute sort of music I guess you could say. It wasn’t something that stood out, but again, cute. ^_^ And now, the characters. Sumomo is obviously my favorite character in this show. ^_^ Besides her being cute, she just has a cute, a little shy, but cute personality. She’s like a typical shoujo heroine, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like her. Sometimes she’s a little on the weaker side (she cries a lot), but it doesn’t get on my nerves. It makes me want to huggle her. xD She always tries her best, so an approved heroine! :D The guy protagonist…well, I sort of forgot about him, so I had to watch an episode to trigger my memory xD. But anyways, he’s I guess a likable main guy. Nothing really special appeals to me about him though. He’s so cute as a stuffed animal though!~ X3 I love watching the chemistry and how both characters interact. It’s just sweet and cute. But I do have to add that the animation is great overall.

A fun, charming, sweet love story mixed in with the mahou shoujo genre, this is a cute short anime that I’d recommend for shoujo lovers. ^_^ Oh, now writing about it makes me want to rewatch it. ^^;;

Well, finally finished it.  I thought I had better ones planned…but I guess it’s the same. Dx Or I just didn’t write it as well this month because I was distracted way too much. But anyways, hoped you enjoyed MM!~

Best. Show. This. Season! Kyaa~ I love it already. I expected it to be good, but it went past my expectations! :D I just hope I don’t get disappointed later like Maria+Holic (oh yes, I’m too lazy to get the cross). But anyways, I love it. Sorry the post is late, but I was waiting for subs…that didn’t come out when I started the post. -_- Anyways, I had to get this post in before my excitement for the show begins fading with waiting. No…I don’t want that! Anyways, love it~ ^_^ I even started reading the manga. :D Just saying though, it might be biased because I love the series already! XD It is probably my favorite show this season so far.

Story & Plot

The episode starts off with a flashback. Akeno Mihoshi, is a star-enthusiast, who drags Ooyagi Saku, a bookworm, everywhere she goes. This tortures him, because she always takes his books as hostage when he just wants to read. She takes him one night to look at the stars, and shows him a special necklace her dad gave her. She decides to climb up a tree, but ends up slipping, while Saku dives to catch her. Saku wakes up, realizing it is a dream, also hitting his elbow. He’s on his way to school, while his mother causes a ruckus for him tieing his ties, etc.

When he arrives at school, he sees paper stars falling from the sky. A girl from the school roof is promoting the astronomy club. Saku looks up, and realizes it’s Mihoshi, the girl who terrorized him when he was little. He says her name too loudly, and so she hears him. She realizes it’s Saku, and chases after him when he runs away. He tries to deny who she says he is, even though it’s true. After she finally catches him, her other friends save Saku. Her friend asks if Saku was a friend, and she says yes, but Saku says no. Mihoshi also asks Saku to join the astronomy club. The student council president comes and is upset by the chaos that Mihoshi caused. Afterwards, rumors start flying around about a first-year (Saku) and second-year (Mihoshi). Mihoshi continuously goes to Saku’s class to see him, only to find him each time missing. She finally finds him at the library, which scares Saku. Mihoshi asks if Saku remembers the memories they had together, even bringing out the necklace, but he says he doesn’t. She asks why he doesn’t remember the wonderful memories they had together, only angering Saku more. He tells her that they were wonderful to her, but torture to him. He even broke his arm after diving to catch her. He says that she wasn’t even there when he moved, but she rebuts saying that she was hospitalized. This leads to Saku remembering that whenever someone brought up Mihoshi, he wouldn’t listen to the rest of it. He apologizes to her, and admits that he remembers her and everything. He even joins the Astronomy Club. This makes Mihoshi happy and she dives to hug Saku once again.

Mihoshi shows Saku around the Astronomy Club’s room. Later on they begin to promote the Astronomy Club. However, it seems like they don’t have a uniform, so Mihoshi writes on Saku’s back. The club leader is willing to have his shirt written on, but he coughs up blood first. The Student Council president comes and sees that they have another member. Later on, Saku notices that she is in the Literary Club. This leads to a little blush-blush moment since Saku loves books, also causing Mihoshi to panic from the good atmosphere between them. Later on, Mihoshi explains that she wants to share the stars in the sky for everyone to see, like how her father did. This small monologue makes Saku surprised about her words. Mihoshi decides to get the binoculars to do a project with the sun. However, when the two arrive, it begins to rain. It’s later nighttime, and they are able to see the full night sky.

I don’t plan to write out summaries for all of the episodes, since I think it would just ruin my enjoyment of the series. But anyways, the story seems like a nice slice-of-life story. I sort of get that Toradora atmosphere though, but I love Toradora, so it’s okay. xD But anyways, even though it’s not the most original thing in the world, it’s still a nice storyline and is executed well. It’s just that nice, fluffy, refreshing story that just makes me happy watching it. It’s cute, fluffy, fun, and hilarious. I just love every element of it. And the astronomy part makes it nice and is actually getting me interested in astronomy. :D I guess it just clicks so perfectly with all of my tastes that I just love it (or maybe I should phrase it as, “It  hit all of the right spots”).

Characters

Ooyagi Saku:

Saku…Saku’s voiced by Tomoaki Maedo, who just does so well voicing him which I’m glad he gets a better role since he also voiced the White Album guy. Anyways, Saku is an awesome main character, and is one of those rare main guy characters that I actually like. I just love his RAGE~ and chibi-fied rage~ It’s just so fun to watch. I don’t know why, but I seem to lol whenever it shows him with a broken arm as a little kid. xD Anyways, his anger and variation just makes me like him. And then when he blushes~ Kya! It’s cute seeing his face fully red. Anyways, win! Saku gets my approval for main guy character!

Akeno Mihoshi:

Mihoshi!!!~ Meet Mihoshi, my favorite character already, who is voiced by Kanae Ito-san. In fact, she’s starting to become one of my favorite characters of all time already. I seriously should wait awhile, but reading the manga and watching it has kept my love for her going on. At first I was worried that I would only think about Amu whenever I heard Kanae Ito’s voice, but she made her voice work perfectly for Mihoshi. And her name totally fits for having “hoshi” in it. Anyways, Mihoshi is such a fun, lovable, cute character=more than awesome. Sure she’s hyperactive, but I love it. I think that’s what makes her so cute and adds to her charm. She’s hilarious, and I love all of the expressions she makes. In fact, I made a gif of some of them. But it sucks. xD So no showing. X) But anyways, I just love her already! Her glomps on Saku are win! Not much to elaborate on her, but like Saku, she is win~ I already made her my icon! xD

Others:

Gah, I forgot everyone else’s name. xD Lol, the guy who coughs up blood a lot is hilarious. I like him, he’s just so funny (like most of the characters), especially in that scene when he was ready to write on his back, but then suddenly coughs up blood and faints. xD It’s hilarious (but my explanation may not make it sound so). But I like him so far. The other girl with blue hair is also cool, since she seems to mediate Mihoshi’s hyperactive-ness. She also seems like the mature one out of the group. x) Saku’s mom is also fun to watch, since she acts oh-so melodramatic. xD Eh, the student council president is the only person I’m iffy on. I just don’t like her because she wants the astronomy club to fail or something. And also because she’s getting in the way of Saku x Mihoshi! Gar! But does anyone else think she has a big forehead?

Overall, so far I find the main characters lovable, and the main two are just…great! I just love them! Again, I think the chemistry and everything between the characters is my favorite part about the show. They make the show stand out from the rest of the other shows. So yes, love the characters! ^_^ More characters are going to be introduced later though, but so far, loving most of the characters! ^_^

Music

OP: Super Noisy Nova by sphere

The opening was an okay I guess. :/ I didn’t find it spectacular, but just normal. The scenes are cute, just like a typical opening. I loved the Saku x Mihoshi shots. It’s just…cute! Especially when they were little, that was a great scene. For once Saku actually looked like he was interested when he was little. The group shots are cute when they were all lying down looking at the stars. But the animation for the opening totally fits, and so I guess it’s fine.

The song was okay. It wasn’t that catchy, but again, it fits. The title is kind of funny though. xD But not much to say on it. I guess it’s a typical, sort of upbeat song.

ED: Hoshikuzu no Surround by CooRie

I don’t know why, but I guess I really find the ending song appealing. I guess it’s one of those songs that I just find surprisingly nice and again, hits the spot. The song fits with the show well, and I just love the tune of it. I liked how the song was inserted into the episode, but I’m kind of hoping for the official ending (so I don’t have talking). But again, I really like the ending song much more compared to the opening song. I guess it’s sort of a relaxed, nice feel to it?

Animation

The animation was average. It wasn’t special, but I guess it “fits” the show’s style. It’s average. Nothing outstanding. I guess the stars and the paper stars look really pretty though. But everything else…meh. But it’s decent and livable. I mean, I am so glad that we did not get some CG thing or something. That’s not livable. But anyways, onto Sora no Manimani. The chibis were animated well, which makes me glad. I’m able to look at it, and it’s simplicity makes it at least nice. It doesn’t repulse me, so we’re good. :]

Preview

Looks like we’ll be introducing the next character. I forgot her name from the manga. x_x But I remember not liking her that much, even though she’s pretty. Ah well, I might like her later on. Anyways, it still looks interesting, especially since we’re still going to get some of Mihoshi’s awesome expressions. XD Yay! Anyways, the preview’s pretty short, but I’m still looking forward to the next episode. :D

I found this to be a “meh” episode. I mean I liked it, but I don’t really find it all that great. It still felt filler-ish to me in a certain way. But I think the main-plot has been butchered. Ah well…I really don’t have much to say on the episode. :/

Also, a new OP and ED. I actually like them…surprisingly. So more thoughts about them soon. Now if only I had better quality video streaming…-_-

OP: Guardian 4–School Days

Lol @ the song title first of all…but I guess it fits. I have to admit that I’m beginning to approve of the Doki intros more and more each time, at least compared with what we first started out with. I guess Guardian 4 just has better songs. But “Omakase Guardian!” had something catchy like the first season opening, while this doesn’t. But it’s alright, I still like it. The title sequence had a happy feel to it (but where’s my cherry blossoms?!). It was kind of appealing though, seeing the rainbows and such. I’m glad that Amu seemed so much IC compared to the older OPs (I think I’ll exclude Omakase Guardian!). It fits much better with the show’s original plot. Amu doing her “Cool & Spicy” poses are always good to me. I like the introduction sequence of the charas, it just fits for an opening, and the charas look incredibly cute there as well. However…I can’t read what it says, and the subs aren’t there. x_x Amu’s wink was obviously doki-fied but I guess you have to deal with that. The bubbles were kind of random in my opinion though. I like that Amu was less OOC as well. She was still walking a little awkward-ish in the end, but it’s not as bad as the marching. It was nice to see every character introduced. Hm…Kukai in the introduction seemed new to me, and he appeared before the main Guardians, I wonder why. The whole cast shot was okay, but it doesn’t make sense why Easter people are in the Royal Garden. But it’s an opening I guess. It doesn’t have to make sense. The only complaints I had was that again, there wasn’t as much Ikuto, considering that this is his arc. But I guess that can count for a plus too, to move away from the seriousness of his arc. Nevertheless, it just doesn’t fit.

Now onto the song. I thought it was a nice song. It wasn’t as cheesy as the first two OPs. However, I didn’t feel like it had that catchy feel of “Omakase Guardian!” I don’t know if it really “fits” now that we are officially entering the Ikuto arc (whether Satelight slaughters it or not). It was happy, upbeat, cutesy, ahttp://blossommedia.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=1091&message=1nd still Doki, but not bad. I liked it. ^^

ED: Buono!–Take it Easy!

Title…-.- Don’t take it easy, it’s Ikuto’s arc! D:< Gar. *Ahem* I’ll miss “MY BOY”…but I guess it’s time to change it. TT^TT Anyways, after ignoring a certain “something”…I actually really like the ending. But so far the ending has always been good, since we’ve still had our Buono!. The animation was a good step up for Satelight. People…move! XD Anyways, I love the summer feel this ending gives. I absolutely love Amu’s outfit and hair too. All of the characters look really great in this ending sequence. I just love the how the beach is anyways. There’s Tadamu in this, and an ending hug, which gave me mixed emotions at first. I was angry, sad, emo, but now I’ve gotten over it. We’ve gotten lots of Amuto, and “MY BOY” was an Amuto ending song anyways, so Satelight just has to try to make it fair by giving the audience a Tadamu ending song. As for the hug, we all know that in chapter 38 we’re getting an Amuto  hug (unless Satelight screws up that chapter! D:<) so that’s why they have put one in the ending . However, this one we’ll have to see over and over and over again. -__- Yaya…I lost a little respect for you TT^TT. There isn’t Ikuto (or anyone else besides the Guardians) at all, but I guess it wouldn’t have fit. :/ But wait…this is Ikuto’s arc. It would fit, the ending sequence just doesn’t, no matter how much I think it’s fine.

The song was nice, as expected of Buono!. It’s a nice contrast to “MY BOY”, and I think if used it in the Ikuto arc (the song anyways) it wouldn’t ruin the mood too much. Maybe it’s a bit happy. But it’s alright, it makes us happier if we get all emo. Pretty much, the song is really good. For some odd reason I think the song has the same feel, vibe, and resemblance to “Fruits Candy“, one of the ending songs to CCS.

Summary

The episode starts out with Amu thinking in her bedroom about Lulu. But they remember that they still have to take care of Yoru. Then it shows Yoru pigging out on onigiri. He mentions that he doesn’t want to stay either, but he has to because he’s looking for Ikuto everyday. This makes Amu wonder about Ikuto’s well-being, until suddenly she hears her father shout out that he loves Ami; however, she turns him down (causing him to cry). Amu comes down to ask what’s going on, and her mother tells her of a contest on Sunday where couples confess their love. Ami mentions that she’ll enter with boys in her kindergarten class, making her father depressed and runs away from home in a comical way. Amu’s charas tell her to enter with Tadase, but Amu goes tsun-tsun and says not in their life.

It’s the next day, and Yaya asks the Guardians if they’ve heard of the love confession contest. Kiseki asks who would do something so embarrassing, and Miki goes into lovey-dovey mode after Ran asks if he has anyone he would like to confess to. Suu also brings up an Eru reference. Yaya talks about entering Tadase and Amu. Both of them become blushy, and try to move onto a different topic. Yaya gets angry and yells at them, and does so again after Rima says it would be too easy if you just had to declare your love to stay together forever. Yaya tells them of the rumor that if they announce it, then they are bound together forever. Naghiko approves of the idea as well, also considering it a chance for them to catch Easter.

Meanwhile, it shows a small scene of Ikuto locked away. Amu and Tadase walk together, and Tadase says that they don’t have to do the love confession. But Amu says that she didn’t say that she didn’t want to, making Tadase happy. Ami shows off her outfit to the contest, making her father sad. Ran reports it to Amu, and the charas try to make her look even better. But she yells at them. The charas tell Amu that this is a perfect chance to tell Tadase how she truly feels, since she never did so before. Suddenly Yoru calls out for Ikuto outside, and asks where he is. The girls think that Yoru has it mistaken, but Yoru rebuts and says that he does love Ikuto, while continuously calling out for him.

It’s the day of the competition. Many people, including Ami (who just wanted the prize, relieving her father) and the boys in her class, begin shouting out their love. Nikaidou and Yukari also participate, even though Nikaidou is embarrassed to do so. Yukari says that she just wants the prize, because she had a vision of Utau using the hula-hoop for a song. While arguing, the host pushes away the sign covering them, which exposes them to the crowd. Nikaidou apologizes for criticizing Yukari’s idea, and the host exclaims it as an original way to confess his love. More people confess their love, and Amu and Tadase are next. Tadase takes awhile to get to his point however, and is interrupted by Ikuto under Easter control.

The x-eggs wrap around everyone, squeezing them, making them unable to move. Amu and Tadase chara-nari as well as Ikuto. A battle ensues. While Amu and Ikuto face off, Yoru calls out to Ikuto. He begins trying to get through to him and talks more. For a moment it snaps Ikuto out of Easter’s control. However, the scientists turn up the tuning fork’s strength thanks to the Director’s instructions. He begins to be in pain and is back under the control of the tuning fork and retreats. Amu and Tadase use Platinum Heart to purify all of the x-eggs. The embryo appears again, but Ikuto is too weak to retrieve it and it flies away again. Amu recalls that Ikuto looked sad, and for a moment he was himself.

Tadase tries to continue from where he left off with Amu, and holds her hand. Both of them blush and the rest of the Guardians watch in the background.

Not much to say on the actual episode though…

Aww…I love you Yoru!!~ You’re such a great chara! This post will probably be filled with Yoru love! Poor Yoru, eating away his sadness. TT^TT

Lol, I love Amu’s family. Papa is the same as always, lol.

Lol, Miki. Pepe nailed it, Miki’s heart is easily won. She’s just like Amu in that aspect. xD

Suu!!~ Eru!!~ Ah, Suu did the Eru reference perfectly! I guess it makes me happy because they are both of some of my favorite charas. ^_^

Eh. I have to say my Yaya love went down in this episode, because of the episode itself and the ending theme. But anyways, lol @ her anger. I’m on Rima’s side on this though. And Rima love on this part! She’s totally straight faced like it’s nothing and just goes, “Huh…” unlike the incredibly scared Amu and Tadase.

Ikut0!!~ TT^TT Gar. Ikuto’s no one’s puppet. Gar. ’nuff said.

YORU!!!~ >_< Awww….that’s so sweet! I love you!!!~ Yoru’s probably my favorite chara right now because of his dedication! And he’s stayed consistent and aware of the plot unlike everyone else around him. Aww…Yoru. Ganbatte!~

On a random note, I love Amu and Rima’s outfits! So cute and awesome! xD

O_O Ami! She’s growing up already! She’s definitely following in her sister’s footstep. Look, she’s already got a harem of her own. X]

ROFL! Utau! I lol’ed so hard at the Utau reference. She’s a chibi too! >.< It would be total win if Utau really did use a hula-hoop in a PV.

Dare I say…hint of our favorite crack pairing?! =O Suu x Nikaidou. xD Suu’s actually sad if both of them get back together…definitely crack pairing hint!! >:D

I don’t know why, but these two made me laugh so hard. I just…don’t know why. Maybe it’s that guy’s weird hair. Who knows. xD But…lol.

Again, I love Amu’s family. But that’s how all fathers are. It’s just so fun to see it amplified to a whole new level in an anime. And Ami’s so cute in this just waking up confused. xD

Tadase takes so long to get to his point as usual. -_- It’s no wonder they got interrupted. It’s like he was waiting for it to happen by leaving in that incredibly long pause.

Yoru!!! *hugglecuddles him* Lol at what he said before, “You were rude and a pain to take care of…” xD. But aww! Yoru! *puts him on number one podium for the day* He’s just such a great chara. >.<

Yay!~ Ikuto was back for a second! But I felt so sorry for him. He did seem really sad, and I’m glad Amu noticed that. But just…Satelight WHY?! Ikuto’s face was ruined terribly. Animation dropped down terribly. He looks like the dudes from The Wallflower! DL

GAR! You. Go. NAO! It’s your fault anyways. If you actually cared about his health for once and cared if his body would be injured, then you wouldn’t be in this case.

Preview

Satelight. WHY?! You…you…killed SC! The main plot…ruined already. I seriously wanna go kill Satelight right now. D:< The Utau arc was done well, so why can’t this arc be done just as well, or better? I don’t even know why Satelight butchered the main plot, but they did. Why is Rhythm coming out right now?! I really hope he goes back in by the end of the episode or something. I really wanted him to come when he was supposed to. It seems like all of the main plot episodes are not being faithfully adapted…making it seem filler-y.

But I really do love Rhythm. And his voice…so cool and awesome! xD

No convention pictures, so chibi Hikage reading and happily walking seems to fit the mood.

Which is/will be the only day I’ll go. Anyways, I went to my first anime convention and I have to say, it was pretty fun~ Except, I didn’t bring any friends so I felt a little lonely going with just my parents. Anyways, I had a fun, but I felt like an idiot walking around my first time…since I had no idea what to do. -_-

But the convention was fun. I didn’t get to go to any panels I had planned to go to. I spent all my time in the Exhibition Hall xD. I was late going and so I missed the early ones I wanted to go to. I missed the Shugo Chara Party too, because I was late.

Besides going to the Exhibition Hall though, I got to go to the Morning Musume concert (which was free!~). It was my first concert too…so it was fun.

Okay, now to elaborate on my day~

Starting Off

Well, since it was my first convention, I had lots of chaos in the beginning. Hm…I was over 40 minutes off schedule just by waiting up. What’s worse was that after we had to run errands before the convention, suddenly we wanted to try out online registration. -_-;; And that…failed. After wasting 30 minutes, my parents decided not to do it. Over an hour off schedule. So because of that, I ended up missing the Shugo Chara gathering and the Photoshop Coloring 101. Anyways, starting off was rocky, and navigating my way was pretty tough. Luckily, I ran into a friend from school who helped me out. xD Then…we decided to get tickets for the main event…

Morning Musume Concert

Well, getting tickets, that was…long. But Morning Musume is pretty famous so I’m not surprised. I just got mad that I almost had to pay $20 because help wasn’t…”helpful”. But after waiting under the beating sun, we finally got in. Some people are so prepared though, setting up chairs in line. xD But overall, the concert was probably the best part of the day.

The concert was pretty fun for a first. The audience was pretty energetic in the front, even though the back…wasn’t as much. A couple people in the back were though, just…not the general crowd. They performed the full 3, 2. 1 Breaking Out! which I thought was a catchy song. Hm…my favorite part of the concert was during the break when one of the members shouted, “I had a cheesecake this morning…and it was…exciting!” I started to lol. It was nice to see them try to speak English though, nonetheless. I was actually surprised and happy when they mentioned concern about global warming later on in the concert.

Personal rant: I had terrible luck though at viewing the concert. I’ve mentioned before that I’m pretty short…at least I think I have. I guess everyone has this happen once before though. But I always had to have someone tall in front of me. -_- And then when the tall person left, I was glad that I could see again! Until…another tall person came. xD

They also announced the winners of the OPV Myspace Contest for 3, 2, 1 Breakin’ Out! Hangry from Hangry&Angry appeared at the concert as well as Tsunku♂ (that extra sign is bothersome >_>). There were three categories, even though I lol’ed at the factors in choosing the Morning Musume Prize (“Whichever made us look the cutest!”). I have to say, the OPVs were pretty amazing, and it’s no wonder why they won. Here’s a video with all of the winners:

The concert was pretty fun, despite going through some obstacles. At the end the audience was cheering for an encore xD but I left too see if anything happened.

Exhibit Hall/Stuff I Got

We decided to check out the Exhibit Hall after the concert. It was pretty big, so I spent the rest of my time at the convention looking around. Since the items are pretty expensive, I only bought two items. xD

I ended up buying a Suu keychain, with her face going: oAo…or something like that. She has an egg tag attached to the keychain as well…similar to FuyuMaiden’s Eru one (which I saw at the same booth). Anyways, I really love the keychain~ It’s so cute and makes me smile and laugh whenever I look at it. I wish I could’ve attached a picture, but I having problems transferring all of my pictures onto my laptop. xD Maybe in the future… Suu costs $8, which I thought was pretty expensive, but then again, most merchandise is pretty expensive. But I think this keychain is my first real anime merchandise (like figure, keychain, etc.). Wow, lots of firsts. Anyways, I don’t really want to attach her to anything since a lot of my keychains have broken off and I don’t want that to happen to Suu (especially since she was $8 compared to 25 cents keychains…jk, it’s not just the money). I don’t want to lose my first ever anime merchandise! D:< EDIT: Found a picture of the keychain on the internet!~

I also got a tote bag. Not much to say about it. It’s super cute though~ Ah I love it. It’s a yellow bag with a bear in the front. Cute~ $25 if I remember right. But it was all worth it. ^_^ Actually, I think both of these items were worth it in the long run. Can’t wait to put my stuff in this bag~

I ended up getting lots and lots of postcards, autograph of Brina Palencia from the Funimation booth, and a sticker. xD There were lots of great artwork there, and artists as well. There was a booth with posters and pictures, and omg! I saw an England x America picture! xD If I remember correctly, I don’t think it was yaoi. I think they were just together. I didn’t catch a good enough glimpse TT^TT. Crunchyroll had a booth, and so did Copic. I got so tempted to buy the markers. >.< I saw some examples with them before, and it was amazing how well they colored. Ah well.

Cosplays

Well, I didn’t cosplay, but I was on the look-out for cosplayers everywhere. We didn’t get lots of pictures, and I can’t transfer them anyways, so no pictures. :( Unfortunately my dad (who I decided would take the majority of the pictures, since he’s way better than me in photography) took pictures of cosplays I couldn’t recognize anyways. However, I finally got to see good cosplays in my life, and so now I think I have more respect for cosplay now and I’m more open-minded about it. So I’ve got to thank Anime Expo for that. But let’s see, the first cosplay I saw when I arrived was a Hatsune Miku cosplay, which wasn’t that bad (hair and outfit was down). Surprisingly, I saw a Mio cosplay there too (but I only got to see the back). There were some great Spirited Away cosplays as well. I was a little surprised to see some Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplays. Lots of Naruto and Pokemon cosplays, as expected. Unfortunately, I only got to see one Shugo Chara cosplay, of Nadeshiko (*coughtrapcough*). I saw a cute Sakura from CCS cosplay. It was pretty close outfit-wise, with a staff and everything. There were Chobits cosplays as well (yay for CLAMP love~). Um, however, I did see some guys cosplays as girls. Um…yeah. >_> Now on another note…my favorite cosplay. Well, it was a Final Fantasy cosplay X). My favorite cosplay was a of Yuna from FFX-2. The hair color, eye color, outfit, it was pretty close. Overall, I now have more respect for cosplays, since I saw some great ones that obviously took time and effort.

Anyways, the convention was a fun experience despite not experiencing as much as I wanted. It was my first time, so navigating everywhere was harder. I still had fun at the places I went nonetheless. I hope to attend next year, hopefully with friends though. ^^ It was a new experience, and was pretty refreshing to me. I had other things to say, but I totally forgot xD, so that’s it for now. ^_^
